We are gearing up and counting down! With 10 days to go the 6th Annual CF Raceday is in high anticipation.

We're in the final stretch of the implementing stage and anxious to be on the track. We have a lot on the go including, but not limited to, an Auto Slalom, Hot Laps at Delaware Speedway, breakfast, lunch and much, much, more! We will be out in the community this weekend to tell you all about it so look for us at Delaware Speedway Friday June 3rd selling 50/50 tickets, and Fleetwood Country Cruize-In at the Plunkett Estate June 3rd- 5th.

Spaces are limited, so don't miss out on the chance to test your driver skills. Any car and all driver skills welcome!

With less then a month on the clock we are well on our way to driving for a cure. I would like to take a moment to say thank you to the members of the Western Ontario Sports Car Association (WOSCA) for joining us again this year. They will be at our most anticipated activity of the day, the BMW London Auto Slalom also known as Auto Cross.

"AutoSlalom is a form of driver skill competition in which competitors drive their cars through a timed course, one at a time. The courses are typically marked only with traffic cones and held on large paved surfaces, typically parking lots. Time penalties are assessed for penalties such as knocking down a cone. Any adult, holding a valid driver's license can enter an autoslalom event and most street driven cars are acceptable to use. Competitors will get multiple timed runs through the course. Only the single fastest time achieved is scored."

CF Raceday...Less then a month away!

Four weeks away and the anticipation is growing with each day. The committee members of this event are busy working on the fine details. With logistics and venues, food and entertainment June 12th is shaping up to be a day to remember.

This Friday May 20th We will be at Wolf BMW, Ontario's only exclusive BMW motorcycle dealer, for their annual test drive day. Its the chance to take a ride on some of the leading motorcycles on the road. They request a donation be made to test drive the bikes with 100% of the proceeds going to CF Raceday!

Three years ago last February I received a message requesting me to help out with an upcoming fundraising event. When I initially agreed to volunteering for this fundraiser I had no idea what a significant part of my life it would become. We're now at the height of putting together our sixth annual CFRaceday which will be Sunday, June 12, 2011. Formerly know as Cruizin' for CF this event has been made a spectacular one with the support of our sponsors, partners, participants and volunteers. As we gear up and count down to June 12, 2011 I'd like to first thank the all of these supporters who have made this day an amazing one. It is with our continued efforts that a cure will be found!
